I just won tickets to their listener appreciation show this Friday to see the PLAIN WHITE T's! I am so excited I could start screaming any second. I've been bouncing off the walls all morning. They are the best!!!!
So, I just have to share some wonderful news with the world because I am OH SO excited!
Chase and I have an ancient video camera. It's so ancient, I refuse to use it. It's huge, it's heavy, the tapes are expensive, I can't hook it up to the computer, and I don't have a VCR to replay the tapes on. It's pretty much useless. We've taped a few of Hunter's important moments up to this point, but mostly, they sit in the dark in the closet not being watched!
For the wedding, we sent out an email (you may remember this) to our family and friends asking if anyone had a digital video cam we could borrow for the wedding to record our ceremony. Low and behold, there were a few out there, and I was excited just about being able to tape the wedding...AND THEN, it got even better!
Chase's WONDERFUL Aunt and Uncle in Utah bought us one with a hard drive for our wedding gift! And they were even nice enough to mail it to us early so we could get started using it! We are both THRILLED, and Hunter LOVES it too. We couldn't be more thankful to Paul and Sue for this awesome gift which will be used over and over again.

Time really flies. It's been so long since I updated. Oh well. Life happens.
These are from our snow storm last weekend. It was 80 one day...then, the next day, we had a blizzard! I LOVE Colorado! Unfortunately, I was sick all weekend, but Chase and Hunter had some fun in the snow with the dogs! It was Hunter's real first time playing in the snow this season...and last I hope! His snowpants are getting too small!

This was part way through the storm! I think we ended up with about 15 inches or so! It was all gone 2 days later leaving us with GREEN GREEN grass! 
We signed Hunter up for gymnastics! I wanted to give him a chance to take a "class" with other kids and learn to follow directions from a teacher like person. I figured since he's never been in daycare to learn those skills, it would be really good for him! And since we plan on him being a big NFL star, it doesn't hurt to start early to learn balance, coordination, and flexibility skills!
On Wednesday, Hunter had a terrible day. He was a grump all day, and was more unhappy then I think I've ever seen him! He didn't even want to take a bath! Well, we had gymnastics that night...grrreeeaaat.
We all sat in a circle and "warmed up" by singing songs and doing little activities. Hunter would do NONE of it and made quite the spectacle of himself by screaming "NO!" over and over again. I thought it was going to be a long hour...
Once we moved on to the trampoline's though, his attitude totally changed and he had SO much fun learning to do all the different things. He even "volunteered" to help his instructor, Miss J.J., show the other kids how to do a trick on the bar! He is also very skilled at the balance beam -- maybe that's because his feet are so small, or maybe he is just very coordinated! It was a lot of fun, and we're excited to go back!
Chase has been working SO hard to get the website up and running, and now it is! It's pretty much to the point where he is happy with it, so now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that it is successful!

Hunter received two train sets for Christmas and was very excited about them! Unfortunately, the only place we had to set it up was in the basement with carpet. Hunter would constantly get frustrated when the tracks came apart because of the unstable surface and still had trouble putting the track back together himself!
Well, thanks to some money from his Great Grandpa and Grandma Lee we were able to purchase him a train table, complete with even more trains and tracks! He's very excited about it, and loves his new choo choo that is battery operated!
